YOUR UNDERWATER SESSION EXPLAINED

Hello lovelies x

I absolutely can’t wait to capture this special time for you! I just wanted to give you a quick rundown of what to expect during our session and answer some commonly asked questions. PS... Pool will be heated and Cozy for ya's XX

Arrival: Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for your session so that we can keep everyone on time. We will not be able to go over time if you are late unfortunately as I am shooting a lot of you on this day so will need to keep everything on schedule X

There is street parking available or a space on the driveway.... Please come through the front door of the house, down the hallway and walk down the stairs. I will be outside by the pool :)

Above-Water Photos: If you chose to have out of water photos then we will begin with some above-water photographs to capture your bump out of the water around the pool :) This can be nude or togs or whatever you feeling

Pool Shots: Next, we’ll move into the pool. I’ll start by photographing you from outside the pool while you are in the pool to create some dreamy unique perspectives.

Underwater Magic: After that -I’ll pop my camera into its underwater housing, jump in with you, and we’ll capture all the stunning underwater moments together! Also up to you if you want these all nude or would prefer some creative clothing or togs on UW - just bring them along and we can get a mixture.

We’ll take everything at your pace, ensuring you’re comfortable and relaxed throughout the session. There are so many poses we can try.....some more challenging and others easier -but we’ll go with whatever feels right for you on the day. There’s absolutely no need to push anything that feels too difficult, as even the simplest poses create the most epic images!

After we finish, there’s a shower available inside for you to freshen up.

1. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

* A towel

* Any props you would like in your photos, flowers, shells etc.

* Togs or clothing if you want (Otherwise all nude is fine)

2. HOW LONG WILL THE SESSION GO FOR?

We have allocated an hour for your session X

3. What do I need to do to prep for photos?

Not a lot - I do ask though please don't wear underwear or clothing that is super tight fitting on your body before you arrive as it will leave marks on your skin. I prefer no fake tan if possible as it can make the images a lot harder to edit if its patchy. I add nice browning filters to my images so you will feel nice and bronzed in them regardless. Literally just need your beautiful self and we will get stunning photos ;) I often get asked whether you need to shave/wax for a nude photoshoot. This is entirely up to you and your personal preference. Most of the images won’t be very visible in that area since they won't be front-on, but there may be some visibility. If you prefer no hair in your photos, you might want to remove it beforehand. Otherwise, going au naturel is perfectly fine and beautiful too!

4. Do I need to wear makeup or do my hair?

This is completely personal preference. There will be a couple of images with your face in the photos before you go under but honestly no need as it's a really ocean/ pool vibes shoot. Just what ever your comfortable with.

5. What kind of poses will we be doing?

The poses will really depend on what you’re comfortable with and how confident you feel underwater. I understand from experience that is super challenging to hold your breath and strike poses while pregnant, so we’ll take it at your pace and see how you’re feeling on the day.

6. How long until I receive my images?

Your images will be delivered to you within 3–5 weeks after the session. You will receive your images online via email. Images will be watermarked so you can pick you favourites, otherwise if you choose to upgrade you will receive all images in the gallery. Upgrading price is $300+GST. just email me letting me know and ill send them all through asap

7. Can I bring my baby / child / Partner / friend to the session?

You’re absolutely welcome to include your partner or family in the photos, or bring a friend along for moral support!

If you’re bringing a young child who can’t swim, please make sure another adult comes along to help care for them—especially during the moments we’re focusing just on you. This way, you can relax and enjoy the experience knowing your little one is safe and looked after.

8. WIll you share my images on socials?

Only if your okay with it :) I'll check after you have received your images and wont share anything with out you approval.

9. What if I can’t hold my breath or stay underwater long?

That’s totally normal and so fine! You don't need to be able to hold your breath for long at all!! You’d be surprised what we can get in just a few seconds underwater. If your not comfortable going under at all we can work with floaty surface-level poses too and still get such gorgeous shots :)

10. What happens if the weather is bad?

The best part about a pool shoot (and having the pool as a backup) is we’re not relying on perfect weather or ocean conditions! Unless there's a thunder storm or really heavy rain, we can go ahead as planned. I'll keep an eye on everything and keep you updated.

11. What if I feel awkward or don’t know how to pose?

That’s literally what I’m here for! I’ll guide you the whole way, show you references, and even demonstrate poses in the water if needed. Most people feel awkward at first—and then completely relax into it once we get going. We’ll create magic together, promise.

12. Do you Photoshop or retouch my body?

I gently edit skin tones, clarity, and colours, and I’ll remove any little distractions (like flyaway hairs or background bits that don’t belong). If there’s something specific you'd like edited—like a tattoo or something that’s bothering you—just let me know! I want you to truly love your images.

Otherwise if your happy to just go with the flow then no need to send anything through <3

SOURCE ANY PROPS OR CLOTHING YOU WANT FOR YOUR SESSION

If you are hoping to incorporate flowers or any props / clothing on the day please organise this :)

STEP 04

Remember not to wear anything too tight fitting on your body prior to the session that will leave lines - just rock up in something loose and be nude underneath if your wanting nude shots. This will save me sooo much time while editing! XX I absolutely can not wait to meet you <3
