THE Experience

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN WORKING WITH BECCY

From the moment you enquire, I want the whole process to feel easy.

Before your session, I’ll send you a little questionnaire so I can get to know you, understand what you’re hoping to capture and pick up on anything you might be nervous or unsure about. You don’t need to have it all figured out beforehand. If you have questions about what to wear, the location, the water or anything at all, I’m here to talk it through with you.

You also don’t need to know how to pose or what to do in front of the camera. You really don’t. Whether we’re on land or underwater, I’ll guide you through the whole thing - how to move, where to stand, what to do with your hands and, underwater, even when to take a breath and how to move through the water.

And if you’re bringing your family, I get it. I have kids too. I know how much effort can go into simply getting everyone dressed, out the door and hoping no one completely loses it five minutes before you arrive.

It genuinely doesn’t matter.

We go with the flow. Kids can be kids. We play, we move, we take breaks when we need to and we make it work. Some of my favourite images happen in the moments that weren’t planned at all.

After your session, I’ll carefully hand-edit your images in my signature style and deliver your full gallery online in 3 -5 weeks, ready to download, share and keep.

All you really need to do is show up. I’ll take care of the rest.

FAQ

01. How do we book you IN

My sessions tend to book out pretty quickly, so if you have a date or timeframe in mind, I recommend getting in touch sooner rather than later.

You can book directly through my online booking calendar, which you’ll find here on the website, or fill out the contact form to send me an enquiry. If you’re not quite sure which session is right for you, just enquire and we can work it out together.

I'M NOT BASED ON THE SUNSHINE COAST -DO YOU TRAVEL?

At the moment, most of my sessions are held here on the Sunshine Coast, but it’s always worth asking as I occasionally have trips planned elsewhere.

A huge number of my clients actually travel from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Many turn their session into a little Sunshine Coast baby moon and book their shoot while they’re here .... which I absolutely love.

01. DO I NEED TO BE A STRONG SWIMMER?

No. You don't need to be an amazing swimmer or have any underwater experience. We take everything slowly and I'll guide you through each movement. Pool sessions are especially gentle and controlled, and we'll work completely within what you're comfortable with.

04. WHEN IS THE BEST TIME FOR MATERNITY PHOTOS?

I generally recommend booking your maternity session for around 30–34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully defined but you're hopefully still feeling comfortable enough to move and enjoy the experience. Every pregnancy is different though, so we can work out what feels right for you.
